Harvest Inc.

Executive National Real Estate Director

From multi-million dollar company founding partner to high-growth private real estate venture capitalist, Joe Kachuroi has led several imperative roles that yield high returns for investors, stakeholders and businesses. Over 25 years ago, he started his success in Commercial Building and Development, where he built the tools to eventually shape Harvest Health & Recreation Inc. to the point of acquisition. Trulieve’s $2.2 billion (with a ‘B’) acquisition of Harvest lays out the world’s largest and most profitable operation, which is thanks in no small part to Joe’s role at Harvest as Founding Partner and Executive National Real Estate Director. Along with the rest of the executive team, Joe positioned Harvest to combine its $71 million asset portfolio with Trulieve’s $289 million back in mid-2021, resulting in 149 commercial stores – more than 37% higher than the next closest competitor.

Even without the accomplishments of Harvest under Joe’s belt, not many people – or even businesses – can lay claim to the achievements he’s experienced: 20+ years in Commercial Realty Executive & Management Leadership, successful former General Contracting Business Owner of commercial projects, and now Vice President of Business Development for Assurfund Real Estate. As one of Assurfund’s VP, Joe continues to focus on raising capital for growing cannabis operations as well as building relationships with state and federal legislatures to ensure the increase in cannabis capital and commercial properties. By focusing on commercial real estate primarily in the legal cannabis industry, Joe has positioned himself and his businesses to build an impressive portfolio on an industry that’s projected to grow sales from $17 billion in 2020 to over $100 billion in 2030. In addition to exceptional sales, the cannabis industry’s legality is consistently on ballots across jurisdictions in the United States, creating future opportunities year-after-year. Joe understood this industry’s potential before anyone else, and thus positioned himself in the middle of its immense growth. Continuing to engage in the commercial real estate and venture capital realm of cannabis operations, he solidifies his position as an already-emerged leader and change-maker for those looking to invest in the fastest-growing industry our nation has seen in a long time.

In addition to his growing years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate expert, Joe continues to prove his business acumen through his involvement with a few large mixed-use commercial real estate projects, namely one roughly 1,500 acres and another 1,800 acres. With his team, he is able to assess what someone needs to develop raw-land to repurpose an existing project, raise a large sum of capital, and sell out your project. Follow Joe as he actively engages in multi-State commercial properties, continues his success through the use of the same model parallel to past companies, and creates value for the United States and the World.
